A timeless classic, the Belcher chain was made famous after originating here in Britain in the 18th century. It was named after the Bare Knuckle Boxer Jem Belcher who was Champion of All England from 1800 to 1805. The chain took the name after The boxer Jem Belcher, due to him making them popular and always wearing it around his neck, the trend caught on, leaving us with the beautiful Belcher Chain. Belcher chains are a type of trace (or link) chain composed of broad round, oval, or D-shaped links of similar size and shape interlocked and soldered together.
